Sony praises the PS VR2. There’s a lot to look forward to
Already in earlier months said and written about the PS VR2 quite a lot. Japanese manufacturer has decided to once again remind about the equipment prepared by him, this time focusing primarily on 4K HDR graphics (to be precise, it will be two OLED screens and 2000 x 2040 per eye), a field of view of 110 degrees (although this is not an industry record) and the technology responsible for tracking eye movement.
This last novelty will probably be for some the biggest change from the older hardware, it will allow for new ways of control. As shown in the video below, for example, you’ll be able to select weapons by looking at them. That doesn’t mean Sony has forgotten about controllers, though, as PlayStation VR2 Sense is also set to bring some interesting features, including adaptive “Trigger” effects and finger touch detection.
Aside from the hardware itself, it’s also worth highlighting mentions of several games heading to PS VR2. Sony mentions and shows here Firewall Ultra, Horizon Call of the Mountain, No Man’s Sky, Resident Evil Village and The Walking Dead: Saints & Sinners – Chapter 2: Retribution, but we also hear about work on Demeo or Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge – Enhanced Edition. We have to admit that it looks like a really promising set. Let’s hope that as many games as possible will appear at the start and not repeat the situation with the launch of PlayStation 5, when in the first months of the presence of the console on the market we could not count on a larger portion of interesting titles.

When will the PS VR2 be released?
For a taste of the entertainment provided by the PS VR2 we’ll have to wait a while. Admittedly, Sony initially suggested the premiere this year, but quite quickly verified these assumptions and shifted the release to early 2023. It’s quite possible that a specific date will be announced soon.
