Need for Speed Unbound is official. When is the premiere?
There was a time when new parts of Need for Speed appeared every year and at the same time were considered one of the most interesting racing games. But things have changed a bit, the reputation of the brand seems to have declined a bit, and the wait for the production announced today clearly drags on. EA abandoned the game last year, shifting almost all of its efforts to Battlefield 6, but leaks over the past few days have suggested that it’s time for some fast action.
Need for Speed Unbound, because that’s the title we’ve decided on, will debut in less than two months. The premiere is scheduled for December 2 (three days earlier the game will be available for pre-order). The game will be available on PC and PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S consoles.

What to expect from Need for Speed Unbound?
Work on Need for Speed Unbound is carried out by Criterion Games studio. As you can see, the prepared trailer is quite distinctive and the question is to what extent it reflects the intention of EA and the creators and target audience. Because you can get the impression that it was aimed at the younger generation.
“Need for Speed’s never-before-seen car rendering combines with avant-garde street art to create a unique style reminiscent of animated graffiti. Use a wide range of new visual and sound effects to show who’s in charge behind the wheel, including nitro boost – a new technique for using the afterburner to give a dizzying jump in speed.”
Instead of the gameplay itself, the first information seems to focus on the environment. It looks like a wide range of modifications, and not just cars, because the official game website also mentions clothes and personalized victory poses. The competition will take place on the streets of Lakeshore with “energetic music”. EA boasts a soundtrack featuring A$AP Rocky and AWGE.
